Alec Haley

Alec's swimming journey began at the age of 6 with the Carmel Swim Club, where he contributed to several state championship teams under Jay Chambers. After a move to Casper, Wyoming, Alec played a pivotal role in Kelly Walsh High School's first swimming and diving championship in 2002. Following high school, he continued his swimming career at Indiana University, achieving notable successes, including helping IU secure its first Big Ten Championship in 21 years in 2006.

Alec joined FAST in the Fall of 2008, initially working with the Bronze and Silver Tigers. Under his coaching, FAST achieved its first Top 3 finish at Indiana Age Group State. Taking over as Lead Coach for the Bronze Tigers in 2009, Alec guided FAST to its inaugural Indiana Age Group State Championship. Since then, as the Silver Tigers coach, FAST consistently secured Top 3 positions at Age Group State, including another championship in 2015. Alec's coaching prowess earned him the title of the 2013 Indiana Swimming's Age Group Coach of the Year. He has represented FAST on various Indiana Swimming Zone Staffs, coached at prestigious events, and served as the Head Coach for Divisional All-Star Camps and the 2016 Indiana Swimming Age Group Elite Camp in Omaha, Nebraska.
